How Salman & Hrithik Lost Rajinikanth’s Movie

Some author backed roles need a talented performer who can get into the skin of the character and transform his entire persona to make believe the role. Director Shankar approached Bollywood star heroes Salman Khan and then Hrithik Roshan for playing one such author backed role.

But, when these two stars’ approval fell into ambiguity after their indecisiveness, the direct had to opt for another star hero from Bollywood. That film is Rajinikanth’s upcoming science fiction ‘2.0’, and the role that both Salman and Hrithik couldn’t take up was Akshay Kumar’s villainous role.

This reminds us of Shivagami’s role in Baahubali. Initially, Rajamouli had senior actors like Sridevi and Susmita Sen to woo Bollywood audiences. Finally, it was Ramya Krishna who took up the powerful role and did total justice for the aristocratic role. IT turned out to be one of her career’s best performances.
