Sampoornesh Babu aka Narasimha Chary got a big break with his caricaturish parody humour in ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’ helmed by Steven Shankar. Sampoo also did ‘Kobbari Matta’ in his direction. Is the director coming in the way of Sampoo and holding back the star from signing good offers?

Responding on this query, Sampoo revealed the truth behind Steven Shankar’s involvement regarding his choice of films. It’s truth that Puri Jagannadh wrote a character for Sampoo exclusively, which went to Ali later. Sampoo had to deny the offer as the shooting dates of ‘Kobbari Matta’ clashed with Puri’s film.

So, he conveyed the same to Puri. When he did this, Steven Shankar was there with him giving rise to speculations and suspicions that Sampoo’s debut director is blocking Sampoo from agreeing others’ film. Sampoo says he respects Steven Shankar immensely but that doesn’t mean he accepts offers with his consent. Well, if Sampoo has no problem, why should we?
