Huge Disaster and Director Is So Casual?

Srikanth Addala who delivered a disaster like Brahmotsavam with his last film is coming back with his next, Narappa. Unlike all the films of him so far which are soft, Narappa is an action film. During the promotions of the film, Addala was asked how he dealt with the shock of Brahmotsavam.

“Brahmotsavam is not a shock. Failure is a failure. That’s it. Cinema will fail but we (I) will not fail. We should analyze and think about the next film. Usually, I am slow and this (failure) has slowed a bit. If not for the pandemic, this film would have happened two years back,” Srikanth Addala said.

However, this did not go well with Mahesh fans. They are upset that the director did not take the failure seriously and spoke so casually about the film result. They are angry that he did not regret giving such a film for Mahesh Babu. Brahmotsavam, they feel is the most forgettable film in Mahesh Babu’s career and they are fuming in anger at Addala due to that.

Narappa will stream on Amazon Prime Video tonight (19th July) at 10 PM.
