Humungous amounts poured down on ‘Ai’

Being the highest budget movie ever made in Indian Cinema Industry, Shankar’s ‘Ai’ has already started attracting big names and one by one very big celebrity stalwarts like Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan from not only Indian Cinema but also bg names from Hollywood Arnold Schwarznegger are getting connected to the Cinema’s promotions.

The makers of the film have decided to have a grand affair for the audio launch event and are doling out huge amount of Rs.7 crores for the celebrations which are going to be held on 15th September in Chennai. The whole thing is going to turn a gala event with laser shows alongside A.R.Rehman’s musical night during the event.

This strategy of pouring crores for audio event seems to be unnecessary and it is sheer waste of money to spend it this way. But since the movie is made with huge budget, the promotions of the movie needs to be really humungous to see that the movie enters safe zone for the producers. Hence these kind of glitzy affairs.
