Hyd prisoners to turn Massage Therapists!

The Chanchalguda Central Prison will very soon offer some Ayurvedic detox and stress reduction therapies to Hyderabad denizens at the hands of convicts. These services will come at the State Institute of Correctional Administration (SICA) premises adjoining the central prison.

The prisoners will be offering these services at half the cost of the market prices. The spa and nature cure center will become operational by June. The spa will offer free of cost wellness treatment for trainees who come forward voluntarily for the 15-day training programme.

The Prison authorities are planning to train the prisoners, who could in turn earn some money during their prison term as well as start their own spa post release. The department already got associated with the city based Kapil Ayurveda Chikitsalayam for training prisoners.
