Hyd challenging Bangalore in aerospace!

Hyderabad is challenging Bangalore’s supremacy in aerospace and defence. It all started with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd set up its facility at India’s first aerospace SEZ at Adibatla on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The city is gearing up for the second wave investments in this sector.

The city already had a strong base of over 1000 SMEs catering the needs of global aerospace giants. Emerging industrial base, infra structure and availability of skilled manpower are becoming huge advantages to Hyderabad in this segment.

And now, the city is also getting multiple opportunities in the multi-billion dollar maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector. US-based Pratt & Whitney is gearing up to launch its third global center after US and China for training aircraft engineers and technicians near Hyderabad airport.
