Hyderabadi dupes Flipkart for 20 Lakhs

A person, Veera Reddy hailing from Vanasthalipuram is a customer of Flipkart. However he is not the one who brings profits for the company but in turned duped them of 20 Lakhs. Veera Reddy used to order various electronic gadgets from the e-commerce giant. Once he receives them he would complain them as Fake, when the company arranges for return pickup, he would replace the original products with fake ones.

Veera Reddy later would sell those originals. He reportedly received more than 250 products from Filpkart by placing orders online in the names of his mother, wife and brother by creating email IDs. Flipkart some how got a hint of this fiasco and registered a Police complaint on him.

The company’s management and the customer were questioned in connection with the case. The police will very soon register cases. The loss incurred by Flipkart due to Veera Reddy amounts to 20 Lakhs which is one of the biggest customer related scam the company claims.
