I Don’t Believe Vijay Deverakonda Is a Potential Actor

With two extremely contrasting roles in ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’, Vijay Deverakonda has seen phenomenal growth as a star in the Telugu Film Industry. One can never imagine any other actor in Vijay Deverakonda’s shoes as ‘Arjun Reddy’. The intensity and the complex emotions he showed on the screen actually gave flesh and blood to the character he played in the blockbuster.

But, it isn’t necessary that everyone has to agree with the same. Here is one filmmaker, Bandi Saroj Kumar who thinks that Vijay Deverakonda isn’t a potential actor. Somehow, he didn’t connect with the movie and also thinks that Vijay’s acting was overrated. But, he thinks that it was the script and the director that were great and made the film a blockbuster. “Vijay Deverakonda is a star because of ‘Arjun Reddy’ but Vijay Deveakonda isn’t a potential actor,” opined Bandi Saroj Kumar.

Bandi Saroj Kumar did Tamil films ‘Porkkaalam’ in 2010 and ‘Asthamanam’ in 2012. After that, he wasn’t seen much in either Tamil or Telugu Film Industries. Now, he is coming with a Telugu movie titled ‘Surya Asthamayam’. The movie is getting ready for release. Bandi Saroj Kumar claims that his film will be in the top ten movies for the next two decades.
