Whether it is the character of Nandana, a Kuchipudi dancer, from the movie ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoi’ or the much acclaimed character Sita, playing the wife of the veteran actor Nagarjuna from the film ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, the actress has managed to display her uniqueness in choosing those characters.

The role of Sita was raised some reactions from the people who were concerned that once she does a role with a senior actor, 56 year old Nagarjuna, she will be made an ‘elderly actress’ but she says it’s all utter nonsense. The actress currently has a few releases up her sleeve, ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu; being one of them. The actress is presently working towards breaking free from her salwar-suit clad avatar.
