I miss Satyam theatre, Ameerpet -Says Nani

It is a lesser known fact that popular actor Nani, in his earlier days, was an assistant director. In a recent chat with Hindu, we learn a few things about his experience as an assistant director and his life at that time. Working as an assistant director helped him learn a few life lessons like how some actors who aren’t even keen on working on a project keep aspiring directors like him waiting. He now makes sure that he doesn’t do the same thing and feels very bad if he has to.

As for being a star now, Nani says he is missing the movies at Satyam, Ameerpet where he used to stand in the line and buy tickets for the first show. The actor told that while he was working as an assistant director, he also worked part-time as a Radio Jockey in Worldspace which got him Rs. 16,000, a lot more than the fee of an assistant director which was about Rs. 2,000-4,000. Nani has few real good movies lined up for release, let’s wish this next door hero will create wonders in future.
