In a recent interview, Hariteja spoke about how seriously she prepared for the role. She said that when she got the opportunity to act in DJ, she felt extremely excited. Since she would be appearing alongside a stylish star like Allu Arjun, she wanted to look her best on screen. To achieve that, she followed a strict liquid diet for 15 days. She admitted that she consumed only liquids during that period in an effort to lose weight quickly. The pressure and excitement were so intense that she could not even sleep properly the night before the shoot.

But what happened on set became a moment she will never forget. Hariteja revealed that Allu Arjun personally walked up to her and spoke warmly. He told her that he had watched her performance on Bigg Boss Telugu and appreciated her work. Hearing that from a star of his stature left her emotional and overwhelmed. She described the feeling as if she was “flying in the sky.”
