I Used To Sleep in Pawan Kalyan’s House Most of The Times

During their heydays, Pawan Kalyan and Anand Sai nearly travelled together for eight years before they duo got busy in their professional life. Speaking about the bond he shares with Pawan, his interests and other aspects, Anand Sai spills beans in an interview.

Anand Sai says that Pawan was brought up in a protected atmosphere and had no worldly knowledge. “Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha used to take care of Pawan like a mother. If he happens to come home late by half-an-hour, she used to send people in search of him, such was the concern they have on him,” says Anand Sai.

Pawan is a voracious reader and when I visited his house, the books were all spread across in his room. “Most of the time I used to sleep in Pawan’s house itself. He is a man of few words like me, maybe that’s how we got connected. He is also spiritually inclined who performs poojas,” says Anand Said.

He then recalls the funny incident when he made Pawan watch Rajinikanth’s film Thalapathi in a front row. He jokingly said to Pawan that it is difficult to get tickets for Rajiniknath’s show and they were lucky at least to have gotten a front ticket. On the work front, Anand Sai will be working with Pawan for his upcoming film PSPK28, to be directed by Harish Shankar.
