I used to write love letters to Rajamouli

Director Vara Mullapudi, the son of ace writer Mullapudi Ramana is once again back to films after his 2008 thriller ‘Vishakha Express’. All these years he has been doing ad films and now he is coming up with a love story ‘Kundanapu Bomma’. Speaking during the audio launch event of his film on Sunday, Vara spoke more about his association and friendship with Rajamouli’s family.

Vara had been the co-director of TV serial ‘Shantinivasam’ along with Rajamouli who used to handle the main unit. Bowled over by Rajamouli’s passion towards film making, Vara used to write ‘Love Letters’ praising his love towards cinema’. He opines Rajamouli and his family members are like family to him.

The presence of Rajamouli & his family at the audio launch only shows how supportive is the director about the people who traveled along with him. Rajamouli makes it a point to attend the audio launches of his assistant directors and the directors who had been associated with him since his initial days in the industry.
