“I Wanted to Reject Geetha Govindam”

While biggies like Rajamouli are appreciating Vijay’s decision to make a film like Geetha Govindam after Arjun Reddy, Vijay Deverakonda says he actually wanted to reject the film but got it signed only because he couldn’t say no.

Geetha Govindam has got great positive results out there and speaking in an interview, the hero reveals that he was hesitant to sign the film when he heard the script from the director. In fact, knowing that he is jam-packed with projects and wouldn’t take dates for this film, he listened to the script to say no to the director but the story made him laugh twice the times he heard.

He laughed at the same joke two times as the director narrated the story twice and realized that there is something in this project, then decided to do it and here it is. Sometimes, those last minute decisions give you the best shot. Isn’t it?
