If I Elevate Mahesh Babu, Tamil Audience Won’t Accept

Murugadoss, who gave one of the worst nightmares to Mahesh Babu’s fans with ‘Spyder’ said in a recent interaction responded about the failure saying that he knew that Mahesh Babu is a superstar in Telugu, but new to the Tamil audiences when he did ‘Spyder’.

He thought Tamil audiences wouldn’t accept if he used elevations, but his calculations failed and the movie disappointed in the Telugu States where he is a superstar. Really, did his calculations fail?

He directed two Telugu movies, so far. Both the movies bombed at the box-office. Back then, ‘Stalin’ with Chiranjeevi also disappointed mega fans, big time.

Murugadoss says that the pain is still there with regard to Mahesh Babu movie’s failure and it would only subside after he delivers a blockbuster with the superstar. Mahesh-Murugadoss’ second film is a remote possibility after he delivered a disaster like ‘Spyder’.

Currently, his next movie with Rajinikanth, ‘Darbar’ is all set for Pongal release on 9th January. The Telugu dubbing version of the movie will also be coming on the same day.
