If Vanga Goes Back, It’s Disaster For Prabhas’s Fans!

It was earlier reported that Sandeep Reddy Vanga would be taking his Spirit with Prabhas on the floors from this June. It was even reported that Sandeep had been scouting shooting locations in Mexico for the same.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that Prabhas is contemplating the area of working on the second part of Kalki and also Salaar 2 before he starts Spirit.

If that is the case, then this could be an indirect confirmation that Sandeep Vanga would go on to work on some other project before Prabhas completes the mentioned commitments.

But if this really is the case, and Sandeep Reddy goes back with Spirit, then this is the worst possible outcome for Prabhas’s fans.

His fans are already in a position where they are not able to anticipate what is going to be served with Raja Saab and Fauji. These two films are being directed by Maruti and Hanu Raghavapudi respectively who don’t have a big film library to show for it. Even fans do not know what to expect from these films.

So the natural expectation was that Sandeep Reddy would certainly deliver a cult action film, and this is what kept Prabhas’s fans going. Also, this is the reason why Spirit was the most anticipated project from Prabhas, despite all the heavy duty projects that he had lined up already.

But if this very Sandeep Reddy Vanga goes back in the scheduling for Prabhas, then things are not going to look very promising at least for fans.

Perhaps it is also the responsibility of Prabhas to make sure that Sandeep Reddy sticks to plan and Spirit happens as planned earlier. Else, the balance in his line up which was lacking back in the day will emerge again.
