If That Happens, Industry Can Not Ask for More from SSR

SS Rajamouli’s RRR – The Multistarer film with NTR and Ram Charan was supposed to release on July 30th, 2020 but was put off until January 8th, 2021. There were reports that the movie will be pushed to Summer 2021 due to the Coronavirus Lockdown. But then, here is another shocking news.

Buzz is that the movie may not make it for Summer 2021 as well since Alia Bhatt’s portions will be tough to be completed and the movie is likely to release only on July 30th, 2021. Rajamouli wants to give at least Six Months’ time for the CGI and other Post-Production works.

This may be a piece of bad news for RRR fans but the industry can not ask anything more if that happens. If RRR misses Sankranthi, at least three films will release that season and if Summer is spared, a minimum of a Dozen films – Big to Small will vie for the Summer Holidays advantage.

Even though RRR will release in the dry season, a project of RRR scale and casting is likely to fare in any season. Rajamouli, NTR, and Ram Charan will bring the audience to the theaters. Moreover, such a delay would also write off any chance of Economic Slowdown and will be actually a blessing in disguise for RRR.
