No ‘Pokiri’ Girl for Mahesh – Dil Raju

Mahesh and Ileana created a magic called ‘Pokiri’ which took Mahesh Babu’s stardom to the next level and also made Ileana an overnight star. There was a rumor making rounds that Dil Raju is going to repeat the combo for his upcoming production venture to be helmed by Vamsi Paidipally.

However, an official confirmation came from Dil Raju himself refuting the rumors that Ileana was approached to play the female lead to romance Mahesh Babu. Whether or not, Ileana is going to come back to Telugu movies isn’t known, but one thing is confirmed that she isn’t going to have a big comeback with Mahesh’s movie.

Telugu audiences are looking for fresh faces and they would like to have a fresh pairing for Mahesh Babu. Ileana is no longer a star heroine in Tollywood and it isn’t going to be easy for her to bag big movies as she left Tollywood and didn’t look back. Moreover, she made fun of Tollywood several times. So, why would Dil Raju rope in Ileana for Mahesh’s 25th movie?
