‘She Is Very Cooperative’ – Buzz Word for Heroines

It’s an open secret that actresses in the glamour industry are expected to do some sexual favours for offers. Even ‘Nachavule’ heroine Madhavi Latha had the same to share about the ways of the industry and how actresses are seen as objects of desire.

In a recent interview, she made some sensational comments. She said that she was approached in an indecent way who used unparliamentary language. Some approached her using posh language ‘like being close friends’. There is a buzz word for heroines in the industry, ‘She is very cooperative’.

She revealed how she was tortured by her director when she said an indirect, ‘No’ to his approaches. She wasn’t allowed to talk with anyone or even her mother on the sets. She was verbally abused using vulgar language. She knew that word of mouth would reach other producers whether she was cooperative or not and this would have a direct impact on next offers.
