In the Year of Comebacks – Will Goutham Nanda Be Gopichand Come Back?

The year 2017 is dubbed as a year of comebacks due to the big return to form for certain people in films and outside as well. In Telugu films, we have examples of Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Sekhar Kammula.

Coming to Gopichand, he surely isn’t a bad “persona” on the big screen. He has a presence for certain kind of films that work well with the masses. He has delivered big hits from time to time that was among the biggest hits in the second league category. But multiple delayed releases have derailed his career and bad script selection on fresh projects inflicted further wounds.

With Goutham Nanda, Gopichand once again has a chance to score hugely. It gives an impression of a well entertaining masala fare with freshness. Sampath Nandi too knows how to present them for masses. If the combination clicks, it would be a nice break for both. The bookings are just about decent which is fine, as much worst was expected. Can a good word of mouth convert these decent numbers into something significant?
