India faces Mamoth Total against Australia

Team India managed to keep down Australia for 328 in the allotted 50 Overs. After a quick first wicket, Aaron Finch and Steven Smith steadied the ship for Australia and at one point of time, it looked a certain 375+ target is on cards. India came back very well taking three wickets in quick session and restricting the run flow in the beginning of the slog overs.

Finally Shane Watson and Mitchell Johnson resorted to some hard hitting towards the end taking the total to 328. Umesh Yadav is the pick of Indian bowlers by picking up four wickets. Even though he went for runs, he picked wickets at crucial intervals.

The pitch looks like a very flat surface with nothing much the bowlers. Good opening and some application from the Top Four batsmen should improve India’s chances in this game. Winner of this game will play New Zealand on 29th of this month.
