Indian jumps in front of a Metro in New York!

Wednesday afternoon in Hartsdale, New York at about 4:04 p.m., a man named Rakesh Bali allegedly jumped in front of a train at the Hartsdale Metro-North station. Bali, who was of Indian origin, died of blunt force injuries from the incident, as reported by the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s office.

The train which was travelling from the North White Plains to the Grand Central Terminal did not have any passengers at the time. An MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) spokesperson, Meredith Daniels, disclosed that the man seemed to have leaped in front of the train.

Rakesh Bali, a 48 year old man, was a resident of Scarsdale and the accident at the Hartsdale Metro involving his death is still being investigated by the local Police.
