Inside Story Of Drushyam 2 OTT Deal

We have been hearing about the Direct-to-OTT release of Victory Venkatesh’s Drushyam 2. But all of sudden, there have been rumors that the movie will have a theatrical release for Dussehra. But once again the OTT Release rumors have surfaced.

Here is what we hear from the inside sources. “Disney+ Hotstar has approached in getting the Direct-to-OTT rights of the movie but the asking price has been high. Amazon Prime Video wanted to get Narappa and Drushyam 2 as a package earlier but things did not work out,” we are told.

“The makers have once again initiated talks with Amazon Prime Video. The price issue is being worked out. But the dotted line is yet to be signed,” the source adds. To summarize it, Amazon Prime Video remains the frontrunner for Drushyam 2 but nothing has been finalized yet.

Interestingly, Drushyam 2‘s original – Drishyam 2 is also a Direct-to-OTT release and has also arrived on Amazon Prime Video.
