Is really Anushka sidelined?

There is a lot of talk on Anushka being sidelined in the upcoming Rajnikanth starrer ‘Lingaa’. So far, the posters and trailers released give no such clue. But still rumours on Anushka’s character’s less screen space are doing rounds in cine circles. Added to this, there is a talk that Sonakshi would have more screen space comparitively.

The film has an interesting mix of period episodes set in the pre-independence era and the remaining part set in the contemporary period. Sonakshi would appear in the pre-independence episodes while Anushka will have screen space in the contemporary episodes of the film. Hence both these heroines will not share screen space inspite of being part of the same film.

Hence the talk that Anushka is sidelined in the film is not valid opines Sonakshi Sinha who is making her South debut with this film. She says that you need to watch the film to know further that both the heroines have their space as the film showcases two eras. This is the first ever Rajni’s film which would release on the superstar’s birthday.
