Is This the Idea Behind Saaho Videos?

Now that another song from Saaho, Bad Boy is out, it is clear what the makers are trying to here. They are catering to different segments of the Bollywood youth with a party, romance and solo numbers. Each one has a distinct feel but has common elements.

There are grandeur and instantly catchy beats in all of the songs that have come out. It is another thing that they lack the nativity factor in Telugu. But, the makers don’t seem to care about that aspect at all.

Take the case of ‘Bad Boy’ which is a typical Baadshah number with gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez setting the video on fire. Prabhas tries his best, gives something to it compared to other singles. And we have to stop there.

Looking at the video songs, one wonders how they will be integrated into the narrative. They all look like specially designed pop-videos that might seem odd in the story which appears to have a different tone altogether. We have to wait and see how this particular aspect turns out in the movie. If they are not part, maybe the Telugu audience would feel relief.

With ten more days left to release, let’s see what else the makers have in store for the publicity. Saaho is a UV Creations production. Sujeeth directed the movie starring Rebel Star Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. Saaho hits the big screens worldwide in a record number of theatres on August 30th.
