Trailer Talk: A Dark Twisted Love Tale

The theatrical trailer of Ishq – Not A Love Story is out. The tagline is very critical here, and once we see the video, we know. There is a twist in the tale, which is dark and different.

The beginning of the trailer gives the impression of yet another routine love story. But, within seconds, the whole thing changes. Something unexpected and out of the blue incident takes place that throws the lovers’ whole life upside down. To know that, we have to watch the movie in cinemas.

Ishq – Not A Love Story is the remake of a Malayalam movie with the same title. It was a sleeper hit there due to the surprising and unexpected content. The makers will be hoping to repeat the same with the Telugu version as well.

Teja Sajja, who recently made his debut with Zombie Reddy, looks apt for the part. He seems particularly fit for the romantic portions with the heroine. It is the other aspect involved in the love story that would decide the film’s success or failure. Priya Prakash Varrior looks fine in her role.

The music, especially the background score, stands out in the promo. It is by Mahati Swara Sagar. He is fast catching up with his excellent but underrated work.

It is a comeback film for the production house after a long gap in Telugu. Ishq – Not A Love Story has taken advantage of Tuck Jagadish’s postponement and hits cinemas on April 23rd.
