ISM Inspired by Panama Leaks?

One thing is confirmed that Kalyan Ram’s next release deals with the theme of black money and he is essaying the role of a journalist in the movie. There is a talk in the industry and also in the media that Puri Jaganadh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s outing ‘ISM’ was inspired by the Panama leaks.

Kalyam Ram gives clarity that he heard ‘ISM’ story in February and started shooting for it from May onwards. But, the Panama leaks issue surfaced somewhere in June-July. So, there is no scope for being inspired by the issue.

“However, Puri was inspired by a documentary on black money that he watched six years ago on BBC channel,” said Kalyan Ram. The story didn’t come out after Modi declared about the black money issue. That might be right. But, black money issue is one of the problems which holds interest of the audiences big way as it is relatable to the present day burning issues.
