Isn't it too high for Vijay in Telugu market?

Until his last dubbed film ‘Jilla’s release this year, Tamil superstar Vijay has no big market in Telugu States. It’s only the beginning compared to star heroes like Surya, Vikram and Vishal who have already established good market in Telugu as well alongwith the icons Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth.

At this stage, the makers of Vijay’s bilingual fantasy drama ‘Puli’ got huge price for the Telugu version, as huge as Rs.12 crore. Though ‘Jilla’ had opened well and helped Vijay to taste silent success for the first time in Telugu States, can ‘Puli’ continue the same for him?

‘Puli’ is already under scanner being compared with ‘Baahubali’ both in terms of quality and it’s epic nature. With not so envious market like Suriya and other star heroes, it seems a high price for a Vijay’s film in Telugu.
