But the bifurcation blues played spoil sport this time. Many issues like ‘TFI migrating to Vizag’, ‘the tug of war between TSFCC & APFCC to be the umbrella body for TFI’ and ‘ambiguity regarding Telangana State & AP States’ policy on TFI after bifurcation’ came in between the above mentioned customary meeting. But after 6 months of formation of the State, isn’t it high time that the film fraternity met the CM?
Even before the TFI biggies made any attempt, Chief Minister KCR himself is extending friendly hand towards them. On Saturday evening, in the Akkineni Award event function held to felicitate all India superstar Amitabh Bachchan, KCR surprised every one by showing concern. He says that very soon he would be meeting TFI biggies to discuss on the industry, assured that TFI isn’t going anywhere and within 10 years TFI is going to see new high.
The evening on which Nagarjuna planned to felicitate Big B has turned a special evening for Telugu Film Industry because it gave clear indications that KCR is going to focus on the issues related to migration of the industry and those issues that had arisen as a result of bifurcation. Hope TFI big names will take the clue and plan before hand to propose strategies that would benefit the industry in the long run.
