It’s Official: Kabir Singh Star To-Do Jersey Remake

After much deliberation and assessments, Shahid Kapoor has decided to go ahead with Jersey remake in Hindi. His last release Kabir Singh was a remake, making Jersey the second consecutive one in succession.

It was doing a back to back remake that was a major concern for Shahid Kapoor. He has not done one until Kabir Singh happened, and now it will be two. The Arjun Reddy remake gave the biggest solo blockbuster in his career so far. It had changed his life as a star. Jersey has the potential to repeat the feat.

Much like Kabir Singh, which was helmed by the original director, Gowtam Tinnanuri will direct the Jersey remake. There is a talk that Rashmika Mandanna might be the female lead, but it is not official yet.

Another interesting aspect of the remake is that Dil Raju will make his Bollywood debut as a producer. He is one of the producers along with Allu Aravind and Aman Gill. The regular shoot of the movie is set to begin in December. Jersey remake will hit screens all over on August 28, 2020. Other cast and crew details of the film will be known soon.
