Jabardast to confront students’ organisation

Once ‘Jabardast’ was the most popular show on television. But now it has turned into the most controversial one. As the show became popular, gradually the show started depending on cheap content and making cheap & tasteless parody on various issues and personalities insinuating the sentiments of various communities.

After the recent brawl on insulting the judiciary system of the country, now a student organisation of one particular caste was angered by one of the episode’s content. In one recent episode, a skit was aired with was alleged to have hurt the sentiments of ‘toddy workers’ showing their women in bad light.

This episode was aired on 18 the December, which instantly hurt the ‘Gowda’ community because it was totally degrading the women of the community allege the students. The ‘Gowda Students’ Organisation’ of Osmania University has filed a complaint on the producers of the show alongwith the judges, actors and the channel. The case was registered with Osmania University police station.
