Jagan Biopic Not Happening?

Is YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s biopic not happening? The producer Vijay Chilla, who had produced Yatra, the biopic on late YS. Rajasekhara Reddy, which chronicled his padayatra, has now spilled beans on Yatra 2.

The producer said that they have no plans to bankroll Yatra 2, the biopic on Jagan. The producer ruled that director Mahi V Raghav hasn’t come with any proposal to them, thus they are not bankrolling this biopic.

It is yet to be known if Yatra 2 is on cards or not. And if yes, then it may be happening with some other producers. However, an official announcement is awaited. Speaking about Yatra, the film got released right before the 2019 elections and it helped YSRCP a bit.

Rumours on Yatra 2 got caught attention after reports were carried that OTT star Pratik Gandhi of Scam 1992 fame will step into Jagan’s shoes. And many believed that akin to the 2019 elections, Yatra 2 will be released right before the 2024 elections to help the party again.

However, with the producer stating that they have no clue about the biopic, it is to be seen if Yatra 2 is on cards or not.
