JB Reveals Mahesh’s Satire on Puri

In one of the promotional interviews for ‘ISM’, Jagapathi revealed Mahesh Babu’s satire on Puri during the making of ‘Pokiri’. When someone asked Mahesh about the progress of ‘Pokiri’ with, Mahesh said, “It feels like Puri is making a TV serial’. That’s the way Puri works as if he is in a rush to complete as soon as possible.

Director Puri Jagannath is popular in the film industry for finishing his films within record time. He is a complete contrast to another acclaimed director Rajamouli. While Rajamouli takes years to complete his films, giving importance to detailing and quality, Puri finishes without thinking much on quality of the output.

Puri also revealed that he made ‘Buddah Hoga Tera Baap’ with megastar Amitabh Bachan within 35 days and the actor felt that the director finished the shooting before he understood his character. That’s Puri’s style and as long as he has an interesting story to tell, there wouldn’t be any issues whatsoever. But, an insight into the quality would give a better product. What say?
