This Is How ‘Aatagallu’ Hero Changed in Last Minute

After the blockbuster Goodachari, Jagapathi Babu is coming with a thriller film Aatagallu directed by Paruchuri Murali who delivered a hit film with Gopichand ‘Andhrudu’, which was actually the only hit from the director so far. With the film all set for a release on 24th August, the director revealed how Jagapathi Babu was supposed to play the hero role in the film and why the role was shifted to Nara Rohit.

Paruchuri Murali revealed that he had the role of Lawyer for Jagapathi Babu which was supposed to be the lead role in the film and also discussed the same with him. But things changed as the comeback film for Jagapathi Babu as a hero, Patel S.I.R bombed badly at the theatres. As the director says, Jagapathi Babu, himself refrained from playing a hero role after Patel S.I.R accepting the fact that audience is content with his negative roles and are not yet ready to take him in the full-fledged protagonist role.

After which the duo came up with giving the lead role to Rohit, yet keeping the importance of Jagapati Babu’s character. Director Paruchuri’s last was Adhinayakudu with Balayya, and after a long gap, he is coming with Aatagallu. The director says this movie is different from his previous commercial films with a rumor that the film was inspired by Hollywood film Primal Fear. Let’s see if this Friday will turn lucky for hero and director.
