Sun TV telecasted an interview of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan (interviewed by Nakkeeran Gopal) in which he made derogatory comments on the actress. Nakkeeran Gopal was the editor of a bi-weekly ‘Nakkeeran’ and as per the agreement between the channel and the bi-weekly, the footage of the interview was sold to Sun Network.
Finally Sukanya’s 18-year old case came to a close.
