Choreographer Jani Master, who was arrested in the alleged sexual assault case, has been released from the Chanchalguda jail after getting bail from the Telangana High Court.
It has been 36 days since he got arrested and during his remand, Jani Master approached Rangareddy district court a few times seeking bail but was failed. Recently, he filed a petition in the High Court. Upon hearing the case, the High Court granted him a conditional bail.
After getting out of jail, Jani Master was spotted going in his car, wearing the Jana Sena towel. Notably, he was suspended from the party due to this case. Upon release, he was asked by the media regarding his response about the bail but he chose to remain silent and proceeded home in his car.
Jani Master was arrested in Goa on September 19 when a 21-year-old female choreographer filed a sexual assault case against him. She alleged that Jani had been sexually attacking her since the days she was a minor. Thus, the police filed a POCSO case against him.
He was eventually arrested in Goa and brought back to Hyderabad where he was put under remand at Chanchalguda Central Jail. In the first week of October, he was granted interim bail to receive National Award. However, his National Award was suspended due to this case and he was sent back to jail once again.
