The shooting of Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is nearing completion. The makers are reportedly planning a worldwide theatrical release in July.

However, recent reports suggest a different development. Shah Rukh Khan is said to have opted out of the project. This decision is reportedly linked to his intention to keep his look from King undisclosed before its release.

There are also reports of scheduling conflicts with the film’s planned July release. Due to these reasons, the team is now looking for another actor from a different industry. The cameo role initially planned for Shah Rukh Khan remains open.
