Worst Hyped Sequel, But Don’t Underestimate!

Jailer 2 Faces Surprisingly Low Hype

Generally, when a sequel for a blockbuster film is about released, there is a lot of public discourse happening on this on social media. But that is not even remotely the case with the upcoming sequel for Jailer.

The second part of jailer is going to release in October and the promotional campaign has started already in all languages.

But not even a single material associated with this film has been able to generate any kind of public attraction till this point. All the video material and the first song that was released, have failed to match the expectation.

But the lack of hype and anticipation cannot entirely be taken as a yardstick for this film at this point in time. It must be kept in mind that the first part had also released with very minimal expectations from the audience, but it went on to become a historic blockbuster.

Nelson is the kind of director, who can come up with witty comedy on his day. He has it in him to deliver a winning action film with a strong dose of comedy in his style.

The presence of music director Anirudh Ravichander is a blessing every single day, and that is not even for debate. If he can somehow come up with his trademark stuff in terms of musical taste, there’s no going back from here on.

As of now, it can perhaps be said that the low hype on the sequel is somehow a positive aspect for this film. This will ensure that the audience will enter the auditorium with very little to expect. And then if they are amazed by the content, there’s a good outcome right there.
