Puri Jagannadh’s career has come back to square one after the disastrous performance of Liger. If Liger had worked, he was about to start Jana Gana Mana (JGM) with Vijay Deverakonda again. But according to the latest reports, it has been shelved.

A few years back, Puri announced making JGM with Mahesh Babu, but the film was called off for unknown reasons. Then also, Puri Jagannadh’s career went haywire, and it took many years for him to come out of his slump and make a comeback with iSmart Shankar.

This time also, after JGM was announced he suffered a disaster like Liger, distributors are after him for compensation, and currently, he has no projects in hand.

People on social media are saying that Jana Gana Mana is more of a curse to Puri Jagannadh’s professional career. Whenever there is an announcement about JGM, Puri’s career goes for a toss. So netizens are suggesting that he should stay away from that film.

But Puri considers Jana Gana Mana as his dream project, and he is adamant about making it in the future with a star hero.
