Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s final film Jana Nayagan directed by H Vinoth, was originally scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9th. However, due to a delay in obtaining its censorship certificate, it was postponed and there is still no clarity regarding its updated release date.
Since there has been a lot of speculation regarding the release of Jana Nayagan doing the rounds on social media over the last few weeks, many people believed that the makers would provide clarity by at least releasing a poster from the film on Vijay’s birthday yesterday. Unexpectedly, there were no updates and not even a poster was released from the film, which has created a lot of confusion among the audience.
Usually, if it is a birthday for the actors or the technicians, the makers of the film they are part of will release a special poster or a special update regarding the film. Consequently, since it was Vijay’s birthday and a very special one at that, as he is now the Chief Minister and Jana Nayagan is set to be his final film, fans expected an update regarding the project, but the team did not share any fresh updates or even a special poster.
Following this, many people on social media started suggesting that this silence from the makers of Jana Nayagan looks suspicious and some even started spreading rumors that it seems KVN Productions and Vijay are not on good terms, which is why they did not share any update regarding the film.
Additionally, this silence from the production house has made fans afraid that Jana Nayagan might never be released and could become a shelved project without ever having a theatrical release. However, it remains to be seen when Jana Nayagan will finally be released in theaters and whether it will emerge as a successful venture, resulting in a memorable farewell for Vijay.
