Janasena 1st Anniversary: Remained where it started!

Today is the First Anniversary for Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party. Pawan Kalyan staged a comeback to Politics on this very day amid huge fanfare and expectations. He played an instrumental role in TDP and BJP’s combine coming to power in Andhra Pradesh in the elections that followed and completely went behind the scene after the election result until his recent capital tour.

Politically, there is no development in Janasena too. The party’s journey started with only Pawan Kalyan then and even after an year, there is only Pawan Kalyan in the party. Raju Ravitej and Potluri Vara Prasad who were in the background then also deserted him and the party. The journey is disappointing as there is no single step in the direction of party building. Forget about leaders, there is no membership drive as well.

Finally, it is the conflict with Pawan Kalyan himself. The actor cum politician is yet to align himself and his party in a direction. The political inexperience and lack of proper guidance is clearly visible after he softened his stand on the government’s land pooling in less than 24 hours of the capital tour. Declaring that he can not even manage Modi’s appointment and wishing Chandrababu to be CM for two more terms only discouraged his well-wishers and portrayed him as unstable personality to people.
