After Panchathantiram, Malayalam actor Jayaram is teaming up with Kamal Haasan for his upcoming film Uttama Villain, which recently went on floors in Bangalore. Jayaram announced the news on his Twitter page that he will be doing an important role in the film, which also features actresses from Vishwaroopam.
‘Uttama Villain’ is believed to be a story about an ageing superstar to be played by Kamal Haasan, who has also written the story of the film. The film is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Kannada. Kamal Haasan’s close friend Ramesh Arvind is directing the film, which also features Kamal’s mentor K. Balachander in a prominent role.
The film is said to be a comic entertainer along the lines several of Kamal’s comedies over the years. Jayaram and Kamal’s combo worked very well in the past and hopefully it will impress audiences again
