Pic Talk: Hanging Wedding in the Air

With marriages moving ahead from mere religious ceremonies, more and more couples are opting for a destination or even adventure weddings. Case in point is the wedding of Trek lovers Jaydeep Jadhav and Reshma Patil from Kolhapur who decided to get married while hanging mid-air over a valley that is 600 feet deep in the Western Ghats.

The thirty old groom Jaideep Jadhav is a pharma marketer as well as a mountaineering enthusiast while the bride Reshma Patil is preparing for competitive exams. Although Jadhav was all set and excited for the unique wedding, it was Reshma’s first adventure sport of the kind and she was nervous although excited as well. What is surprising is that even the priest was suspended on the ropeway to officiate the ceremony.

The couple decided to have this kind of wedding in order to create awareness about adventure sports.
