Confidence or Over Estimating? We’ll Know Soon!

Shahid Kapoor has pinned a lot of hopes on Jersey as he has worked very hard on the film for a long time now. The Hindi remake of Nani’s film was already postponed twice and is finally coming out on the 14th of this month.

But the film is facing a mammoth competition from KGF 2 which will also release on the same day. Seeing the clash, one can understand that the makers of Jersey are super confident with their product as it requires guts to clash with a pan-India monster like KGF 2.

There are a few who feel that the makers of Jersey should have chosen the date of 8th April and have a solo release. This would have helped the film a free one week’s run at the ticketing windows. But Shahid and co chose 14th as it is a long holiday weekend in India.

Shahid is high on the success of Kabir Singh and the film will surely open decently. But the film needs a very good word of mouth to withstand a film like KGF 2. So, will it be confidence or over estimation from team Jersey it will be known soon.
