NTR Definitely Needs A Push There!

Jr NTR had a safe box office venture in the form of Devara after RRR. The film turned out to be a decent money spinner at the box office which is what NTR needed to sustain post-RRR market.

However, if we speak about the Hindi market, it has been rather shaky for NTR. Devara had collected in the vicinity of Rs 65 crore nett here in full run. While this might be an okayish number, NTR would have expected more after RRR.

In that case, doing War 2 after Devara could really be considered as a well-thought-out move from Tarak.

With War 2 being a straight Hindi film handled by an efficient Ayan Mukerjee and also starring Hrithik Roshan, it will add a lot of value to NTR in the domestic Hindi belt.

There will obviously be arguments in the Telugu circles that War 2’s credit will go to Hrithik and Ayan in Hindi. But the hard fact is that it will bring NTR closer to the Hindi audience and increase his footprint there.

This will only go on to add value for Tarak’s next with an anyway super efficient Prashanth Neel. So, though War 2 might not come across as the best choice of Tarak in recent times on paper, its rewards are going to be substantial for him.

Going by Devara’s run in Hindi, NTR certainly needs a push further in Hindi and he appears to be on course to attain the same though War 2.
