NTR New Accent: Genuine Or Fake?

Every single aspect of superstar, right from his appearance, dialect, and clothing pattern is assessed keenly by everyone. In the case of NTR, his accent has now come under scrutiny on social media.

In a set of viral videos on social media, Jr NTR is seen speaking in American accent at an English interview for Devara.

This video interview has triggered a series of interesting reactions on social media. Incidentally a section of social media users are opining that the accent used by NTR here is entirely fake and he’s overdoing it.

By the looks of it, NTR is undeniably using a different English accent from what we are accustomed to or perhaps even he himself is used to.

But what’s to be noted is that NTR is always a grade-A orator and he has the tenacity of getting close to the target audience though his modulations. He does the same when he speaks Kannada and Tamil in an attempt to give it a more localised feel.

The same could be applicable for his English accent. While it might sound fake to a few, the intention will only be to get closer to the native audience and there’s nothing too wrong about it.

End of the day, social media is always a hostile place and is always in the lookout for one hate material or another. This narrative to frame NTR’s accent as fake could be another such attempt.
