NTR or Lokesh – Who Will Dominate the South?

The biggest clash of the year—the epic showdown that had been rumored for months—is now official.

Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth’s Coolie have officially announced its release date: August 14. Just a day later, on Independence Day (August 15), Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s War 2 will hit the screens.

But can we really say these two films are equals? War 2 holds a strong grip on the northern markets, while Coolie is a powerhouse in the southern regions.

There are quite a few interesting parallels between the two.

NTR starring in a high-octane spy film alongside Hrithik Roshan is a major draw for War 2.

On the other hand, while Rajinikanth always commands buzz, the real excitement for Coolie lies in the Lokesh Kanagaraj factor.

So, when both films release this August, especially in the southern markets—including the Telugu states—the real question will be: Who dominates whom?
