Speaking about Jr NTR, director Kanmani says that he considers Kamal Haasan as a great artiste. And in Telugu, the actor who takes the place is Tarak. “Kamal Haasan is a phenomenal actor. He is a complete artiste and for me, if there is anyone who comes after Kamal Haasan as a great artsite it is Tarak,” says the director.
Elaborating further on the reason behind dubbing Tarak as a great artiste, he says, “Tarak shows great variations. If we ask an actor to cry in a close-up shot, they may themselves have discomfort. Once or twice they may sob, but the third time it gets repetitive which they themselves will not like. But such is not the case with Tarak, as he would show an array of emotions making him pull off any emotion with ease,” concludes director Kanmani.
On the work front, NTR will be seen in Rajamouli’s RRR which is slated for October 13 release. After wrapping up RRR, he would then go ahead with Koratala Siva and Prashanth Neel’s projects.
