Lakshmi Devi Kanakala, wife of Devadas Kanakala was an instructor at an acting school in which she trained noted actors like megastar Chiranjeevi and comedy king Allari Naresh. At the age of 78, she passed away because of age related ailments she had been suffering from.
She is survived by her son Rajeev Kanakala, daughter-in-law popular anchor Suma, daughter Srilakshmi and grandchildren. She was a noted personality on television, as well. NTR’s friendship with Rajeev Kanakala is a known thing and his presence to pay tribute is a nice gesture.
