Judge to give final verdict in Salman’s case transferred

May 6 is going to be the judgment day for the ‘hit and run’ case in which Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is alleged to have resorted to homicide. The judge who is going to pronounce judgement on the day, DW Deshpande has been transferred to Satara from Mumbai High Court.

The transfer order of Mr.Deshpande is out alongwith transfer of other judges in the list. But according to transfer rules, in the cases in which hearing is concluded and only announcing judgement is posted to another date, the judge has to complete the judgement before he moves to a different place.

So the same judge who has been following the case and examining the witnesses will be giving the judgement on May 6. This applies not only for Salman’s case but also for other cases where the hearing was concluded.
